I went to OCF with bro. It was awesome! Had heaps of fun. It was very warm, welcoming, inviting place to be!!
Worship was awesome. Everyone was so into it, it was a small group of people, in a small lecture theater but the atmosphere was pumping. And I bet the rest of the campus was filled with praise and worship music!!!
It was a different atmosphere, with new people that I've just met but definitely was a familiar place to be. With God in the midst, everything is always familiar, regardless of the setting. It was also good to be with fellow Malaysians/Singaporeans. It was great to mix around with them and listen to their Malaysian stories. Their Malaysian accent or slang reminded me of my hometown. Until now, the word "lar" or "hor" still intrigues me very much!!!!!
Closing my eyes, I drifted into a one-on-one with God. I realised how much I've been missing out on. Every single time, it was always the excuse of "maybe next time" or "so cold today!!" or "my assignment has to be done today".
I thank God for everything that has been going on. I also prayed for Aun Shiang, my course mate. She's a non-christian. I invited her to come along and I was thankful she did. I prayed that God will speak to her and open her heart to receive, her ears to hear and eyes to see the wonders that God has placed around her.
She had fun as well so that's really a good start. I'm definitely going back once more.
