2nd semester has started!! Back to my uni routine once more.
Today wasn't so bad actually. I almost miss my morning bus, almost! But good thing is I did not. Met You Rim on the 900 bus and talked for the whole trip. She thinks I'm smart. LOL.
Management Lecture was so-so. The lecture was okay, he's Swedish but lived in Australia for close to 20 yrs. Management seems interesting, we shall see then.
After that caught up with Suj and Harsh. And then went searching for textbook with Aun Shiang in the Library. Since I won't be buying any textbooks anymore, might as well borrow it from the library. A relief because the library has my Accounting textbook, Bus Stats and Management textbook. I didn't borrow it immediately but instead hid it away in the other shelves. :)
Then, treat myself to a prawn cocktail sushi from Uzu, the Japanese takeaway at Caulfield. Yay!! Finally get to have Uzu sushies again!!
Management tute was awesome. It wasn't so-so, not JUST okay, but was awesomely fun. My tutor is from Singapore, (yay! nice to have someone close to home but not yet there!) but he had lived in US, NZ and Australia for almost 12 yrs.
He laid out some housekeeping rules like "handphones have to be off, silent mode is unacceptable!!" or "I expect everyone to speak up during discussion and not make me talk to myself" or "no begging when comes to assessment marks" or "I don't entertain crying people, so girls.... keep that in mind". I'm cool with all his rules. However, he kinda forgot to address the issue of lateness, or maybe he doesn't mind people being late??? Oh wells the tute is in the middle of the day anyway so no way am I going to be possibly late to that tute.
He simply criticised people who do Accounting/Banking and Finance, which happens to be the course I'm doing. Fancy that!! He said those who do double degree quote :" Have no life!!" Huhuhu.... He happens to be a BF tutor as well and claims that 3rd yr is a yr where we BF people have no life outside of uni. Despite his rules, he seems very humorous and down-to-Earth person.
Then, I get to mingle and fool around with my "Management mates".
Yeah! They r an interesting bunch. :) Hotties all around as well. *)
OMG, there's this US guy who is hot!! Believe me, he's like those guys in beach teen dramas, blond hair, blue eyes, melting hot smile, rock hard body. LOL. But I didn't get to talk to him, his name's Nick btw. LOL. I was busy talking to the rest.
So, there u go, my first day back. Not too bad overall!! So much for being paranoid.

What? Your lecturer actually said ppl who do double degrees have no life! Lol!
I don't know, I don't think I can agree with him on that... even my mum encourages me to take dd's. Nowadays ppl look for multi-skilled workers, what with the stiff competition that is only getting stiffer with the years, prolly due to the looming recession and stuff that affects employment.
Well not sure if that's applicable to ppl who take Accounting etc like you, cause I think demand for your types are more stable than like, for designers.
Well, perhaps your lecturer has a good reason for saying that ppl who take dd's have no life... but as long as I don't know what that reason is, I'm taking those dd's!xD
p.s. make sure nick's not gay... lol you never know nowadays.
LOL Sonia. He even added that dd people are Losers. But I think he was joking. I think what he meant was that dd are not easy for some people.
And Nick doesn't seem gay to me. LOL.
