Should I change my course or not?
I know. Really stupid thing to think about right now.
I'm doing a double of Acc/BF. I know double degree is much safer, there's a larger range of jobs and it's less risky as in if I change my mind in the future or I somehow I hate Accounting (which is impossible) blablabla.
BUT. My head is set to Accounting. I know I will love Accounting and to me doing Banking and Finance is a waste of time (an extra one yr) and waste of money and waste of energy. I know I will get a job in Accounting for sure, everyone needs an accountant. If there's two jobs present to me, as in working as an Accountant or working in shares or banks or Wall Street. I don't even know what the Banking and Finance sector deals with. But I'll definitely go for something in Accounting.
So, at the end of the day, I will choose Accounting so why even bother getting another degree? But then, the two courses relates to each other. And professional accountants tell me that employers look for people who study Accounting and Finance together. And it might be a possibility that I may hate Accounting. Makes me feel so scared when I think of that.
Maybe I should consider Accounting and Finance, another course which is offered at Clayton. I graduate one yr earlier and less cost (obviously). My parents want me to graduate earlier and be in the workforce sooner and be independent. Clayton is closer, and I may be motivated to go to lectures and tutes. Besides, I really really wanted to go to Clayton in the first place.
So, how now?
