Footy

I'm starting to like Australian Footy. Is it because I'm becoming more Aussie? Possibly.

I've never heard of Australian Footy before until I came here. And I didn't like it at all! Footy is a cross between soccer and rugby. I think footy has no standard at all and no rules at all coz anyone is allowed to tackle, hit, jab, knock anyone really. There has been some blood scenes on the footy field.

This goes on UNTIL I start playing them in PE yr 10. And believe me, it is not as easy as u think. I watch it on TV and the players kick and pass the ball without any effort. But, it is HARD to even pass the ball because the footy ball is an oval shape so kicking and passing is tough.

It's an amusing game. It is also very exciting to see players bounce onto each other and tackle each other. It's quite funny. Sometimes, they have childlish fights on the ground, which is great to watch. And the players are quite cute too. So, it's like watching the players and the footy at the same time. :)

My favourite team? I don't really have one. I like Carlton actually and Geelong, and WC Eagles.
