AR-KER-AO-TING

Just back from oxygen encounter. It was alright, I was a lil' freak out at first but dear Manda came to my rescue. Phew... thank you Manda. If not of u I would be lost and alone.

Met a few new people. The music was too loud that I couldn't remember what they were saying. My brain sorta received it and then gone in a bang!! I should complain about the distracting music.

"What r u doing this year?"
"Oh! Accounting/Banking and Finance"

One thing I hate is telling people my course. It's not that I'm embarrassed about my course, it's just sooooo hard to pronounce it. Every single time I explain it I get tongue tied. Even saying Accounting is tough enough. Especially the Acc in Accounting. Is it said as AR-KER-AO-TING or ER-KI-AO-TING or AK-KOU-TING or EK-KI-AU-TING.

I'm doing double degree right? And get this, once I say Accounting, everyone just goes arh..... without allowing me to finish the sentence. So very annoying. And MOST people, repeat MOST people just look away and continue talking to others or doing their stuff once I say Accounting.

HALLOW... I haven't finish telling u yet.

But I still continue the "Banking and Finance" bit. By then, everyone would be doing their stuff and not listening to me. So it's almost like telling people u're doing Accounting only. But infact ur not.

The worst part is the slash bit. Accounting/(this slash) Banking and Finance. lol... And it is such a long word that I jumble and put the whole word everything together in like a second. Every time I would hesitate, take and deep breath and then continue. And there's no shorter method of saying it. How do u cut accounting into a short word? Well.. Acc is the written short form method. But how do u say it???? ARK?? It has no meaning at all. And any short way of saying Banking and Finance?? lol..... tell me if anyone know! I would like to call it BF.. haha.. Might try that next time someone ask me! lol...

Economics is hard to pronounce too.... haha but that's another story. E-KO-NO-MICS or A-KO-NE-MICS or E-KE-NO-MICS or A-KE-NE-MICS. LOL... Yes I think too much!

But I'm proud of my course!! YAY!! O-Day tomorrow!!! I am SO very excited I'm going to explode!! lol...... *BOMB*!
